Ratsagen nærmer sig, så tænkte at vi skulle starte en tråd med hvad der foregår.

A hearing is set to begin Jan. 4 to determine if there is enough evidence to allow the case against Murray to stand trial on the felony count. http://67.59.172.92/...ns_Doctor/73621

there are around 30 witnesses to be called in the hearing, with prosecutors laying out their case against the doctor piece by piece. Their aim is to show that he was being reckless when he improperly administered Propofol and other drugs to MJ in June of 2009.

Som altid er det taget fra rygte sider, så nu ser vi hvordan virkeligheden udspiller sig den 4 januar

Late singer Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince Michael might be asked to testify in court in his father's death case. The 13-year-old is likely to be called by defence lawyers for Conrad Murray.

Puha det håber jeg satme ikke passer! Tænk at prøve at bruge MJ egen søn, til at få en frikendelse! De er jo syge i hovedet!

Michael Jackson hearing: Security guard describes frantic efforts to revive dying pop star
January 4, 2011 |  3:21 pm
After the lunch hour, a security guard for Michael Jackson took the stand and described the frantic final moments when he saw Jackson’s physician kneeling over the singer, who was sprawled next to his bed.
Jackson was lying with his eyes and mouth open, appearing not to be alive, testified Faheem Muhammad. “I recall him being in a sort of panic state, and I recall him shortly after asking if anyone in the room knew CPR,” Muhammad testified of Dr. Conrad Murray.
Muhammad said he and another security guard exchanged looks of surprise.
“I knew Dr. Murray was a heart surgeon, so I looked at Alberto [Alvarez] kind of shocked,” he said. Alvarez eventually began helping Murray administer CPR, Muhammad testified. He said he left the room to whisk two of Jackson’s children, Paris and Prince, away from the foyer at the front of the room to keep them from the commotion.
Muhammad testified that less than an hour after the singer had been declared dead, the doctor approached him, saying he was hungry and wanted to get something to eat, and abruptly left the hospital soon afterward.

Det kan jeg desværre godt give dig ret i :fever:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
A bodyguard testified Wednesday that the doctor charged in Michael Jackson’s death grabbed a handful of vials and ordered him to put them in a bag before telling him to call 911 during frantic efforts to revive the King of Pop.

Alberto Alvarez was the first security guard to reach the bedroom where prosecutors say Dr. Conrad Murray administered a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol to Jackson on June 25, 2009.

He said he was frozen at the sight of Jackson on the bed with his eyes and mouth open. He said he saw Murray place vials in a plastic bag that he then gave to Alvarez to put in a canvas sack.

“He just grabbed a handful of bottles, or vials, and he instructed me to put them in a bag,” the tearful Alvarez testified.

Murray also told him to place an intravenous bag into another sack. the bodyguard said.

“Is it true that 911 had not been called yet?” Deputy District Attorney David Walgren asked.

“That’s true,” Alvarez replied.

The bodyguard said he asked Murray what had happened to Jackson, and the doctor replied, “‘He had a reaction, he had a bad reaction.’ That’s all he said.”

At one point Jackson’s children Paris and Prince walked into the room.

“Paris screamed, ‘Daddy!’ and she started to cry,” the witness said. “Dr. Murray said, ‘Get them out. Don’t let them see him like this.”’

Alvarez’s voice choked as he described Paris crying and he took a moment to compose himself.

“I said, ‘Children, don’t worry, we’ll take care of this.’ And I escorted them out and left the door ajar,” Alvarez said.

After collecting everything and bagging it, Alvarez said Murray told him to call 911. The prosecutor then played a recording of the call.

When an operator said to transfer Jackson to the floor, Alvarez said, he grabbed Jackson’s legs and Murray grabbed his upper body. He said at that point he noticed an IV in Jackson’s leg and it had to be removed. Alvarez also noticed that Jackson had a urinary catheter.

Alvarez said Murray then asked him to give Jackson chest compression while Murray did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

“Did it appear he was breathing,” Walgren asked.

“No sir,” Alvarez said.

“His eyes and mouth were open?” the prosecutor asked.

“Yes,” the witness said.

“Did he seem to be alive or dead?” Walgren asked.

“Dead, sir,” Alvarez said.

The testimony could provide key corroboration to the prosecutors’ argument that Murray’s actions demonstrated “an extreme deviation from the standard of care” by administering propofol without the proper equipment, and also concealing it and botching efforts to resuscitate the singer.

Walgren said Tuesday in his opening statement that Murray waited as long as 21 minutes before paramedics were called. Jackson died before help was summoned, the prosecutor said.

Murray was providing Jackson propofol roughly six times a week since being hired as the singer’s personal physician in May 2009, Walgren said.

Murray, a Houston cardiologist, has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys have contended he did not give Jackson anything that should have killed the singer.

At the end of the preliminary hearing, which was expected to go into next week, a judge will rule whether there is enough evidence for Murray to stand trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the pop star’s death. He could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

The hearing was expected to include testimony from police, coroner’s officials and forensic experts who will describe the mix of sedatives found in Jackson’s system.

Preliminary hearings have a lower burden of proof than trials, and defense attorneys rarely present a case. Murray’s attorney, Ed Chernoff, did not make an opening statement.

Michael Jackson hearing: Paramedic had 'gut feeling' Dr. Conrad Murray wasn't telling truth
January 5, 2011 | 3:27 pm
A paramedic who was called to the scene of Michael Jackson’s final moments testified Wednesday that he had a “gut feeling” the singer’s physician was not telling the truth as emergency personnel worked to revive the pop icon.

Richard Senneff, who has worked for the Los Angeles Fire Department for 25 years, said that when he arrived at Jackson’s rented Holmby Hills home, Dr. Conrad Murray told him Jackson’s condition had “just happened.”

Yet based on the performer’s dilated pupils, dry eyes and his skin, which was cold to the touch, Senneff believed Jackson may have been dead for more than 20 minutes, the paramedic said.

“All I can tell you is my gut feeling at the time was this did not just happen, it’s been a period of time,” Senneff testified in a hearing being held to determine whether Murray should stand trial in Jackson's death.

Senneff said other things Murray told him did not seem to add up: that Jackson had no underlying condition and was just being treated for dehydration, and that the only medication he had been given was the sedative lorazepam.

Even when pressed repeatedly about what medication Jackson had been given, Murray never mentioned the powerful anesthetic that was eventually determined to have caused the singer’s death.
“At that time or any time, did Dr. Murray tell you he’d given the patient propofol?” Deputy Dist. Atty. David Walgren asked.

“No, sir,” Senneff responded.

Senneff testified that he initially thought Jackson was a hospice patient because he appeared pale and underweight, with an IV stand and a personal physician at his bedside.
RIP Beautiful Michael!

Witness in Jackson case: Things didn't add up

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The career paramedic dashed into Michael Jackson's bedroom, looked around and listened to a doctor's explanation for why the singer was ostensibly lifeless and came to the conclusion that things didn't add up.

Richard Senneff said the gaunt patient, an IV stand and bag next to the bed and the presence of Dr. Conrad Murray pointed more to a hospice patient, not an international pop superstar about to embark a series of London concerts.

Although the doctor said he was treating Jackson for dehydration and exhaustion and he had just passed out, Senneff recalled how the singer's legs were cold and limp, his open eyes dried out, and his hands and feet turning blue. The doctor never mentioned that he had given Jackson propofol, a powerful anesthetic that authorities say killed the musician, Senneff said.

The medic's testimony during the second day of Murray's preliminary hearing was the latest in a series of witnesses to describe Jackson as lifeless by the time help was summoned.

Senneff will return to the stand on Thursday for defense questioning, which so far hasn't elicited any major contradictions in the prosecution's case.

Deputy District Attorney David Walgren described Murray's actions as "an extreme deviation from the standard of care" -- ranging from his use of propofol in Jackson's bedroom, not telling medical personnel about it and improperly administering CPR.

Murray, facing four years if convicted of involuntary manslaughter, has pleaded not guilty. His attorneys say the Houston-based cardiologist did not give Jackson anything that "should have" killed him.

Senneff's testimony came after one of Jackson's former bodyguards, Alberto Alvarez, testified that Murray told him to place medicine vials and an IV bag in other bags before calling 911.

The 34-year-old bodyguard was the only other person in the room with Murray while frantic efforts were being made to revive Jackson.

Alvarez said he was "frozen" at the sight of Jackson laying in bed, a urinary catheter attached and his eyes and mouth open.

"I said, 'Dr. Murray, what happened?' And he said, 'He had a reaction. He had a bad reaction,"' Alvarez recalled.

The singer's children, Prince and Paris, walked into the room at one point and the young girl screamed, "'Daddy!" and started to cry, Alvarez recalled. At the doctor's urging, he ushered them out of the room.

In the courtroom audience, Jackson's mother, Katherine, dabbed at her eyes during the most detailed public account yet of events surrounding the death of her son. She came to court with her husband, Joe, and children Randy, Janet and LaToya. They made no eye contact with Murray across the courtroom.

They heard Alvarez testify that he helped Murray bag the medicine and saw an unidentified "white milky substance" in the bottom of an intravenous bag.

"He just grabbed a handful of bottles, or vials, and he instructed me to put them in a bag," Alvarez testified, adding that Murray also told him to place an intravenous bag into another sack.

After collecting everything and bagging it, Alvarez said, Murray told him to call 911.

Four minutes later, Senneff and his crew arrived at Jackson's rented mansion in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles.

He said Wednesday that he saw no signs of the propofol or the other sedatives ultimately found in Jackson's body, and Murray made no mention of the anesthetic as paramedics rushed to try to find some way to save the singer.

Phone Company -- Murray Called Everyone BUT 911

Two reps from the phone company testified in the hours surrounding the revelation that Michael Jackson was lifeless in bed, Murray was texting and calling lots of people, but never called 911.

The records show Murray was sending and receiving multiple texts. Two particularly interesting ones at 12:03 and 12:04 PM ... the person Murray was texting was in Texas.

It's unclear if the texts had anything to do with the two women in Murray's office who went to a storage facility to retrieve boxes.

Murray also sent data at 12:15 and 12:18 and another text at 12:53.

Murray also called a number of people, including his girlfriend, Nicole Alvarez, but the only record shows 1:08 PM. This is inconsistent with what law enforcement tells TMZ -- that he was on the phone with Alvarez just after 12 noon and when Murray realized MJ was in distress he dropped the phone.

EMT: Murray Denied Giving MJ Drugs
Updated 1/06/11 at 10:35am

Another paramedic testified ... Dr. Conrad Murray denied giving Michael Jackson drugs as the singer lay lifeless in his bedroom.

Martin Blount said when he walked into MJ's room Murray was sweating profusely. Blount says Murray told EMTs he waited only one minute before calling 911.

But another paramedic testified earlier he believed Murray waited between 20 minutes to an hour to call 911.

EMT: Murray Wouldn't Accept That Michael Was Dead
Updated 1/05/11 at 4:45pm

An EMT continued testifying after a recess, stating all of the emergency workers at Michael Jackson's house knew the singer was dead, but Dr. Murray wouldn't "call it."

Richard Senneff testified about facts that TMZ has been reporting for more than a year -- that when paramedics arrived at MJ's house, there was no sign of life and no chance of revival. Nevertheless, Senneff testified Dr. Murray claimed to feel a pulse and, as the senior medical person on scene, refused to pronounce MJ dead.

Murray ordered the EMTs to take MJ to the hospital. Senneff said the ride was "unbelievable ... like the Rose Parade. People running down the street, taking pictures, random cars passing the ambulance. It was insane."

Once at UCLA, Senneff said Murray was "spinning ... moving around, nervous, sweating, multitasking."

On cross examination, Ed Chernoff got Senneff to admit ... Jackson's skeletal, frail frame, along with his black/bluish feet, were signs of a drug addict.

RIP Beautiful Michael!

The role of propofol has loomed large in Michael Jackson's sudden 2009 death, and according to an investigator, copious amounts of the surgical anesthetic were found in the superstar's home.

During the latest round of testimony at the preliminary manslaughter hearing for Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, on Friday (January 7), an investigator for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office testified that a dozen bottles of propofol were discovered in Jackson's home, according to TMZ. One of the two bottles found in the singer's bedroom was empty, and investigators also found a slew of at least 10 other types of medication, including lorazepam, hydrocodone and lidocaine.

The mother of one of Murray's children, Nicole Alvarez, also testified and said the doctor sent several packages to her home from April to June 2009. While the packages' contents were not revealed in court, TMZ has reported that the parcels contained propofol and were sent from Murray's Las Vegas pharmacy.

Another one of Murray's girlfriends, Sade Anding, gave notable testimony. Anding said she received a five-minute phone call from Murray around 12:30 p.m., during which he abruptly stopped talking after exchanging brief small talk. Anding said she heard "coughing and voices," and the line sounded as if he had placed the phone in his pocket. However, according to phone records, the only time Murray called Anding that day was at 11:51 a.m., which would have meant that Murray waited about 25 minutes to call 911 once he recognized Jackson needed emergency assistance.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter, and his lawyers are reportedly planning to claim Jackson killed himself by self-administering a lethal dose of propofol.

Waitress was on phone to doctor of dying Jackson
By Michael Thurston (AFP) – 21 hours ago
LOS ANGELES — A cocktail waitress recounted how she was called by Michael Jackson's personal doctor the day the pop icon died and heard a "commotion," apparently as the medic struggled with the crisis.
Sade Anding, of Houston, Texas, was one of 11 people with whom the physician, Conrad Murray, spoke by telephone in the hours leading up to Jackson's shock death on June 25, 2009.
In other testimony at hearings into whether Murray should stand trial for involuntary manslaughter, the court heard that 12 vials of the powerful sedative propofol which killed Jackson were found in a closet at his home.
The waitress said she had met Murray in a Texas steakhouse in February 2009. The pair had exchanged phone numbers, and she received a call from the doctor on the morning of the fateful day.
"He told me that he was doing well," she said, adding she had cut him off and started talking, but realized five or 10 minutes later that Murray was no longer on the phone.
"I heard a commotion... coughing, mumbling of voices," she said, adding that she was unsure if the mumbling was coming from Murray.
Anding said she stayed on the phone for about five minutes, saying it was unusual for Murray to stop responding. "I just remember saying, 'Hello? Hello? Hello? Are you there?' Are you there? Are you there?'" she said.
The waitress eventually hung up and tried to call Murray back and send him text messages, but got no reply.
Prosecutors allege that Murray, 57, negligently administered an overdose of the powerful sedative propofol to help Jackson sleep and then tried to cover it up. The doctor denies the charge of involuntary manslaughter.
Paramedics and emergency room doctors this week have said Murray initially failed to mention having administered propofol, and that Jackson appeared to have died at least 20 minutes before they arrived at his mansion.
On Thursday paramedic Martin Blount said that when he arrived Jackson seemed to have been dead for at least 20 minutes, despite Murray's claim that he had stopped breathing a minute before they were called.
Blount added that Murray initially denied having given Jackson any medications, but said he saw the doctor holding a needle and spotted three bottles of the anesthetic Lidocaine on the floor.
In new evidence Friday coroner's investigator Elissa Fleak said she found 12 vials of propofol in the wake of Jackson's death.
One was found empty on the floor near the singer's bed shortly after his death, while the other 11 were discovered four days later in a closet at his rented home.
Two had been opened and were found inside a dark-blue Costco bag, while the other nine, some of them open, were found in another bag, Fleak said.
Anding meanwhile said she heard nothing more until police contacted her. She called Murray, who apologized for involving her, and urged her to call his lawyer to be present if she met with detectives.
Los Angeles detective Dan Myers told the hearing that Murray had made or received 11 cellphone calls, totaling some 90 minutes of conversations, in the roughly five hours leading up to midday on the fateful day.
These included a 32-minute call to his medical practice in Las Vegas and an 11-minute call shortly before Murray called Jackson's personal assistant at 12:12 pm to say the singer had had a "bad reaction."
Prosecutors allege that Murray "abandoned his patient" after administering the propofol some time between 10:40 am and 11:00 am.
Murray could face up to four years in jail and lose his doctor's license if the case goes to full trial and he is convicted.
Jackson's death shocked the entertainment world and triggered intense debate over the performer's health in the run-up to the London concerts, known as the "This is It" tour.
